Criteria for Nomination

While lack of adherence to the criteria below does not necessarily result in a disqualification, these principles offer general guidelines that should be recognized to have the opportunity to be nominated.

Candidates are judged on the total exterior appearance of their property as viewed from the street.

Judging criteria includes: tidiness of property as evidenced by pruned, trimmed and/or shaped foliage, edged and defined lawns, borders, mulching and flower beds, and visually appealing facade.

Grass should be healthy with no bare spots or excessive weeds, and should be mowed and edged (including foundations and fences). Flower beds should be weeded and edged. Trees and shrubs should be pruned. Walkways and driveways should be clean and tidy.

Yard of the Month nominees will be chosen during the last 2-3 days of each month.

Voting will take place through the end of the month. The winner will receive their gift card and yard sign on or around the 1st of the month. If you see a neighbor you feel should be nominated let us know.

In turn, we look to celebrate those who do a superior job in maintaining their yards in such a way that they enhance the overall curb appeal of the entire community.
