Get involved! We are looking to establish a Violations Committee
Board Announcement - Establishment of a Violations Committee
Community Members,
The 2025 HOA Board of Directors is seeking your support in establishing a violations committee. As part of a revised approach to managing and resolving potential violations, the board wishes to establish a violation committee to ensure that the community has a role in the violation process.
Purpose of the Committee
The purpose of the committee will be for members of the community to affirm or deny violations that are presented by the board for further action. The committee will consider the issue, hear appeals, and decide if a violation is proper in accordance with the Governing documents. In addition to providing a voice for the community, we believe there will be a reduction in cases referred for legal action, saving homeowners and the community both time and money.
How you can help
If you are interested in serving as a committee member, please email sterlingmeadows32771@gmail.com with your name, address and phone number. The Board is seeking 6-9 individuals to serve on the committee on a rotating basis. **Members of the committee cannot be current HOA board members, **nor persons related to board members (spouse, family, etc.).
The Violations Committee represents one of several steps the Board is taking to improve relations with homeowners in 2025. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
Sterling Meadows Board of Directors
